Free workers have knowledge or skills that organizations value. They do not subscribe to the idea of a job for life or long-term loyalty to any one organization but instead work on short-term personal contracts. They depend largely on networking to find new assignments. They may be freelance or e-lance workers and may follow a pattern of portfolio working. -
